My name is Mary Sue Fordham and I am a locavore. At least… I am trying to become a person who only eats food grown and produced locally. Luckily, I live in Portland, Oregon where incredible food is grown miles from my house.
Unluckily, not much grows here in winter and I have started this adventure in late November. Excuse my missteps in finding local food without starving or alienating the people who eat my cooking.
If you have a comment, grammar correction, or tip on where to find locally canned tomatoes in the middle of winter, feel free to drop me an email at eatingstumptown@gmail.com.

Mary Sue!! I think it’s awesome that you are doing this!! Do you still read the wolf blog?
I keep up with “The Sneeze” blog and his “Don’t eat that Steve” column. I love it!
I’ll try to catch up on your blogs. I just read your “My Momma’s Potato Soup” entry and I love it! I have to try that some time!
I hope all is well with you!
